Supervisors are expected to make sound and timely decisions often times in chaotic, dynamic, and rapidly changing environments. Leaders at all levels must be empowered to make decisions. Decentralized command is a key component to success! The course objective will be to provide Tactical Team leaders and Patrol Supervisors with realistic training and leadership methods that can be applied immediately upon their return.
Students learning process during the course will be accelerated with feedback from the instructors who have a combined 40+ years of SWAT/law enforcement back ground and the other students in the class. Students will be exposed to a data base of new material and techniques along with experiencing new gear and technology.
This class will put the Team Leader/Supervisor in scenario based missions and have them function through the entire process of planning, execution and an after action review (AAR). Students will also be expected to discuss and possibly debrief past scenarios from your Department that had good and/or bad outcomes.
Please be ready to work hard during these three days and improve yourself as a leader.
